DTS provides a range of services and software products to support decision making for fire protection planning and operational incident management.
With a rich history working with fire protection agencies, we are able to leverage this knowledge to “put risk information to use” in support of mitigation, prevention and operational activities. This involves crafting software solutions to derive information in the form required by fire professionals – whether they are mitigation planners or incident commanders.
By leveraging the premier geo-web development capabilities of DTSagile, we are able to offer custom applications that provide critical information in a timely and efficient manner. This includes providing geo-web portals for creating awareness and education with the public, as well as more full featured analysis and reporting applications for planners, managers and field staff. These applications utilize both geo-web and mobile platforms (smartphone and tablets), ensuring the best technology is used for the right task – whether in the field, on scene, or back in the office.
By combining our technologies with Tecnosylva , DTS is able to provide a robust, comprehensive suite of proven applications for enterprise incident management. Our flagship product, FiResponse , provides capabilities for incident tracking, fire reporting, dispatch and resource tracking, ICS staff assignments, working time tracking, as well as summary reporting and mapping – all on a GIS web enabled platform. Data from mobile, desktop and web data sources is seamlessly integrated into a Common Operational Picture that provides immediate synchronization and situational awareness for your EOC, Dispatchers, Incident Commander and Fire Chief, IC team and the public.
FiResponse is complemented by the Wildfire COP for disseminating incident information to operational staff, other agencies, the media and the public. The COP provides a web based interface for viewing the latest information about incidents, firefighting efforts and related conditions. The COP provides a public facing venue for keeping everyone informed during wildfire situations.
In addition, to support in-the-field analysis for the Incident Commander and his team, Wildfire Analyst provides sophisticated real time analysis of wildfire spread, fire behavior, suppression capabilities and impact analysis. Simulations are generated in minutes providing real time capabilities to adjust simulations with field observations and suppression activities to determine where a fire is actually going, and most importantly where lives and homes may be in danger.
